Biography:

My name is Juli Rochmijati Wuliandari. It’s quite a long name but you can just call me Yuli or Juli (it’s like you say ‘Julie’). I am from Central Java, Indonesia. I completed a Master of Science (Biology) and Diploma (Biology) from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Since 2001, I have worked a Department of Biology, Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto in Central Java. Besides in my department on the subjects: Invertebrates, Animal Structure, Animal Physiology and General Entomology.

My research was about two species of wild silk moths namely Attacus atlas and Cricula trifenestrata (Lepidoptera: Saturniidae). I carried out studies on their developmental period and growth of larvae reared indoors and outdoors reproduction, energetics of larvae, cocoon characters, and larval nutritional biology. I examined these aspects of experiments on some food plants since both Attacus atlas and Cricula trifenestrata are polyphagous.

I am a member of the mosquito team. Currently, I am working to select resistant lines of Aedes aegypti with and without Wolbachia infection covering selection in laboratory with temephos and bifenthrin.
